Leah and Tyler chose Zilker Botanical Garden for their proposal location, and it was so beautiful. It's definitely an Austin must go to place, especially if you love a variety of looks in one location.
As many couples do, these two met on a dating app. As someone who never used a dating app before, I find these modern love stories so interesting!
It was Tyler's idea to propose in front of the waterfall. This was the first time any of us had gone to the Zilker Botanical Garden before, so we were on a mission to find the waterfall. The park is relatively small, so it didn't take long to find, and it was absolutely gorgeous for the proposal spot!
A unique thing about this engagement session was that Tyler asked Leah to marry him during the session! Of course, Leah already knew he was going to propose at the session, but with the smile on her face, you'd still think it was a surprise.
And let's talk about the ring... Isn't it gorgeous?! I love the wavy band! Leah and Tyler picked out the ring together.
Along the way, we found lots of great spots to stop for photos before the big moment. The garden features tall flower patches, large grassy areas, wildflowers, and wooded areas. They also have a lot of different sculptures and other structures like The Butler Window and even some dinosaur statues! Although we did not pose with the dinosaur statues for this photo shoot, I'm sure kids would love to!
Sweet photos for a sweet couple! I think the photos came out beautifully, and it was a lot of fun to explore this new location. Zilker Botanical Garden will definitely stay on my list of great Austin locations. So honored that Tyler and Leah chose me to document their special moment.
